On Friday, September 25th the new building was officially 'opened' by MP Simon Burns, who cut the ribbon in front of several of Affinity's strategic partners.

Why is it important to make a Will, and what happens when you don't?

Most people assume that when they die, all their possessions pass automatically to their spouse or family, this is not true

The state rules that if you do not make a Will your possessions are distributed according to the rules of  intestacy i.e. dying without having a legally valid Will.  This means you have no influence in this distribution. 

Without professional advice, you could miss the chance to ensure your estate passes to your beneficiaries and is not at risk from potential predators.  This can include a future spouse (or live-in partner). 

 


Inheritance Tax is not just for the wealthy. Make sure your assets are passed onto your family and not the tax man.
